I born was in Jersey City, NJ. My dad was a Navy jet mechanic until he retired and near the end of his career we lived in Lemoore California, the population at the time was around 7,000. My wife and I attended Lemoore High School and our families lived on the Navy Base, Naval Air Station Lemoore. My dad was transferred just before my senior year and I ended up graduating from Great Mills High in Maryland. I returned to Lemoore and became a reserve deputy sheriff for the Kings County Sheriff's Office. I attended the Tulare-Kings Police Academy, was hired as a police officer and served on the Cities' Accident Review Board, the Kings County Narcotics Task Force and worked patrol. I was an acting supervisor on the task force and acting patrol watch commander. I moved to Pensacola Florida and worked as a deputy sheriff with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office and was assigned as a narcotics investigator, major crimes investigator, field training officer, and promoted to sergeant. I spent over twenty-six years in law enforcement. My wife, Lauree, and I returned to California to be with family and I became an investigator with the State Bar of California. I continue to work at the Bar investigating ethics complaints against California attorneys. I received an A.A. in Liberal Arts from West Hills College, Coalinga, CA, a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a Business minor and a Master of Public Administration with emphasis in Criminal Justice from Troy University, Troy AL. |
