Candidate for
Board Member; Wright School District

1. I am an incumbent member of the Wright District School Board. I was appointed to serve the remaining term of a departing Board member, following which I was elected to the current term, which is nearing its end. I am currently serving as President of the School Board. My experience during the past terms equips me to address the needs of our students and the budget crunch forced upon us.

2. To learn how to be a more effective member of the School Board I have taken several courses designed to broaden and improve my abilities in the areas of school governance, budgeting and finance, collective bargaining, goal setting, curriculum, communication, and others.

3. I am the parent of three children who attended school in the Wright District. They received a superior foundation on which they built successful educational careers in Middle School, High School, and at University. I want to ensure that students in the Wright District continue to be offered this valuable advantage.
