These economically challenging times require an experienced healthcare professional on the SHCDB. Ruth's experience as a licensed mental health professional in San Mateo County and a member of the Sequoia HealthCare Grants Committee make her the clear choice. There are 3 open seats on The Board and 7 candidates; only two including Ruth have healthcare backgrounds. Your support is critical to the quality of medical care in our district and to the future funding of numerous invaluable non-profit agencies.
Ruth began her professional career at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and has worked in the pediatric intensive care unit at California Pacific Medical Center. She currently works for Mental Health Associates of San Mateo County. She is active in Girl Scouts and 4-H. These collective experiences give Ruth a strong understanding of the healthcare challenges and concerns in our community.
