Becoming Business Friendly

By Gary Allen Nemeth

Candidate for Mayor; City of Paso Robles

This information is provided by the candidate
How we can make Paso Robles more attractive to new business
We can start by being a "YES" government, we want to hear what your needs are and decide how we can assist you rather than a "NO" government presenting you with roadblocks and confusing regulations. I believe we need to have a completely different direction in how we deal with anyone wanting to do business in our community. It starts from the top and that is who sets the tone for the city.

Government regulations need to be reduced; the process needs to be more "friendly" and responsive to the needs of new and existing businesses, processing time must be reduced, time is money and the city needs to understand the money does not belong to the city; it belongs to the tax payer.

I have been reappointed to the Planning Commission which will make 11 years of service to Paso Robles, plus 8 years as Councilman (4 of those years as mayor pro tem) and I have just been endorsed by both the Paso Robles Police and Paso Robles Firefighters Associations to serve the community as your mayor.

I have a reputation for integrity and positive attitude, and when I am your Mayor I pledge to maintain that integrity and willingness to work with everyone to get the job accomplished. The business community as well as the rest of our community appreciate a Mayor who is willing to say "YES I AM HERE TO ASSIST YOU,"
