Political Philosophy for David C. La Rue
Candidate for |
I'm passionate about our children and schools, and I strongly believe each school year that the students in our district should achieve a full year of learning growth in our schools. My mission is to work with a board that believes in ensuring that all our students reach their highest potential at our schools. Stretching our limited finances, creatively searching and sourcing other revenues, and actively raising funds have been integral to my role as a trustee for the past 18 years. My background in business, financial consulting, and education have served invaluable in getting more for Templeton, and in maintaining our programs' high standards. My understanding of the complicated financing system is unequaled. I have worked all over North America and many places in the world. I have seen many schools and schools of thought. I bring a fresh and intense innovative approach to education, and never feel being satisfied is good enough. Our students cannot afford to be exposed only to old time tested methods; they must experience new and changing educational methods weekly. I will always serve as your Trustee with the best interests of our children as my guide. I've focused on recruiting and supporting superior teachers and staff, and promoting a safe and healthy school. With strong leadership and a single dedication to our childrens' education, your trust and a vote for my continued service, will be appreciated and well placed. Respectfully, David C. La Rue, Ph.D. |
