Political Philosophy for Bret Heinemann
Candidate for |
It has been said that when it comes down to the only thing each of us can really call our own are our values and that if we sell those our then what do we have left? I will not sell my values out nor will I ask anyone else to sell out either. I will listen and pay attention to the needs of the community to make decisions. The city council makes decisions with the best information available at the time the decisions are made. Therefore, in general it is best not to spend time trying to change the past, but rather to move forward. The use of Imminent Domain by government is not acceptable, ethical and should not be used. The people (voters) are the ultimate voice in government. |
