Candidate's Statement

My candidate's statement.

Our schools assets include students, families, and staff. Facilities and equipment are can be assets, too, but can not replace good families, students and staff.

Our schools are facing a vary serious financial crisis. It stems for an over reliance on the State of California and our national government for funds. For future school and educational stability we need to come up with alternative local sources of income. This does not mean "mortgaging" our childrens' future with long term debts to cover short term needs although a bond issue in the future might bee needed to develop long term financial stability for the school district.

One excellent educational tool for Atascadero is character education and best of all it doesn't cost anything nor does it require us to do anything extra except how and why we do what we do.

Good character and values like honesty, integrity, perserverance, trust, responsibility, respect, and respect can not be bought with money for the reward of the values is intrinsic and not extrinsic.

What is it we celebrate July 4th? Holiday, independence and freedom of elections and their worth. A day to welcome.

Liberty nurtured over-the-years takes a lot of work, time, struggles, blood, sweat, and tears to grow and climb.

We have many choices everyday To work, socialize, Travel and play or to be smart and wise.

Freedom is not a license cue to do legally everything we choose. Responsibility is needed not to over-do and lose.

Veterans and civilians know that We would weep if our freedoms should die and go.
