Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Atascadero Unified School District

I began a teaching career at Atascadero High School in 1970 after receiving a Masters Degree from Cal Poly I taught in the Resource Specialist Program for thirty four years and was the athletic director for thirty two years, prior to my retirement in 2004.

I have been married to Christine for thirty two years, and we have a twelve year old daughter, Julia, who is in the seventh grade at Atascadero Junior High.

I have been a Trustee since 2004, having been appointed to an open seat for two years, and was elected to a full term in 2006. I currently serve as Chairman of the Board for the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. I am also the Executive Director of The Atascadero Greyhound Athletic Foundation.
