I am thirty-six years old and a third generation Tracyite. I am married and have two young children. I attended school in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1991. I attended San Joaquin Delta College and Sacramento State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1995. I graduated from Humphrey's School of Law in Stockton in 2008 with a Juris Doctor degree.

I am currently a peace officer for the State of California. Since 1996, I have worked in San Francisco, Dublin, Stockton and Tracy. I have worked in Tracy since 2002. All these different assignments have given me a vast amount of knowledge, experience, as well as training. Some of my experience and training include, member of the San Mateo Gang Task Force, Patrol, Drug Recognition Evaluator, Training Officer, Evidence Officer, Firearms, and Public Affairs Officer.

During my time in Tracy, I have kept the citizens of Tracy safe by removing impaired drivers, drugs, and guns off our streets and out of our neighborhoods and community. I have enforced the traffic laws to make sure that when you leave home you return safe. I have conducted several hundred presentations at local schools and businesses concerning alcohol, drugs, gangs, and traffic safety. Furthermore, I am currently a part time Criminal Justice Instructor at ITT Technical Institute and serve on the Criminal Justice advisory board at Humphreys College.

I belong to several organizations in Tracy. These include the St. Bernard's Catholic Church, ELKS Lodge, Mount Oso Lodge,and Kiwanis Club. Furthermore, I am currently the leadership team leader for the Academy for Business and Law High School
