  • Allow each student to attend his/her first choice school within the district. Expand popular schools and close unpopular schools.
  • Raise teacher salaries and cut administrator salaries to pay for it. Put teachers in charge of the schools, with administrators working for them.
  • Maximize choice and make education more consumer-driven, with schools and teachers more accountable to students and parents. Put lesson plans online.
