Immediate tax credits, hiring incentives and appropriate taxes and fees to assist existing and new businesses.Small businesses in D10 are continually closing or hanging on by a shoe string. When the Redevelopment Agency started "redeveloping", we were promised our local businesses would benefit. If the promises made to our local businesses were kept, many would not face going out of business. We must have a Supervisor strong enough, with proven integrity and sense of community to fight for District 10. Otherwise, our economic opportunities and jobs will continue to be outsourced, i.e., Mazzei Hardware, Liberty Builders and Bayview Property Management (and real estate). We can no longer afford the old guard and its status-quo. |
