Candidate for
Mayor; City of Imperial Beach

I have lived in Imperial Beach since 1976. As a lifetime resident and a father raising my five children, I have great concern for the financial future of the City of Imperial Beach. With the current RDA projects and rising cost of emergency services, I am committed to being fiscal smart. I want to be sure that in the current economic times that the City is run without over extending in unnecessary spending. I want to be business froendly and encourage more local, small busines owners to keep their businesses to remain here in Imperial Beach. This will help create tax revenue and ease our financial woes.

I also want the Seacoast Inn and 9th and Palm RDA projects to be completed on time without anymore funding from the City, who has committed over 18 MILLION dollars to them. I want to be sure that these, and any future projects,will help to beautify areas that have become blighted.

I want to be sure that the next generation of Imperial Beachians will be bright and provide a safe place for all.
