Candidate for
Board Member; Lakeside Fire Protection District

An elected Member of the Lakeside Fire Protection District sits on a Board that oversees the direction, finances, and contracts for the Fire Protection of the Lakeside area. A Board Member does NOT need experience as a Fireman; rather, they should have experience working with others to run and maintain an organization, to work for the TAXPAYERS of our district, to work WITH the Firefighters' Association, to oversee budgets and make necessary cuts, and to insure that the fire protection for Lakeside continues to be excellent and reliable! I want to promote the safety and protection of the citizens of Lakeside, by working with the Fire Chief, staff, and firefighters in both fire prevention and emergency services. I am fiscally conservative, balancing cuts needed in difficult times such as the present, while being responsible in times of affluence.

As a Director of the Lakeside Fire Protection District, I promise to serve the Taxpayers of this District. I am not endorsed by the Firemans' Association, so therefore I am not obligated to anyone other than the voters and taxpayers who elect me!
