I care deeply about Capitola. Over the past 30 years I've lived, worked, and raised my kids here. As an attorney, public servant, and CEO of local human services nonprofit Community Bridges, I've dedicated my life to this incredible place we live in and the diversity of people who share it.

It has been my privilege to serve you on the Capitola City Council these past four years; to do my best to be responsive to the needs you've expressed and the values we share. I've worked diligently to:

  • Preserve our neighborhoods and affordable housing
  • Maintain our police force
  • Balance our budget during difficult economic times
  • Improve our relationship with our elementary school district
  • Protect our environment

We still face challenges ahead. I am running for re-election to the City Council in order to continue to put my experience to work to:

  • Restore hours to our library and open the Rispin to community use;
  • Protect neighborhoods and complete our general plan;
  • Expand parking and guide the development of the new village hotel; and
  • All the while, to continue to budget responsibly

Together, we can continue to work to make Capitola a wonderful place to live.
