Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Barstow

I am a person of action not promises. An experienced leader with over 10 years of experience in supervision with San Bernardino County and over 20 years of business experience as owner of Barstow Trophy and Hobby.

In these difficult times we need to network and work together to ensure that the community needs are met. To that end I belong to the Barstow Chamber of Commerce, the Barstow Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Crossroads, Veterans Support Group, Barstow Senior Citizens Center and serve on Desert Manna Ministries Board. In addition I voluteer for yhe Holiday program.

I am the Co-Chair of the Complete Count Committee for the City of Barstow 2010 Census. I am working to ensure that in 2010 Barstow is counted and that we as a community do not lose the benifits as occurred in 2000 when only 58% of the local residents responded. I took on this challenge because of my commitment to the community of Barsto with no pay or strings attached.

I am currently serving Barstow as a Planning Commissioner since 2005 and have diligently done my homework and been prepared to ensure the best interest of Barstow are represented whenever developers or businesses come before us for approval.
