|
I have been involved in public education for over forty years as a teacher, counselor, principal and district administrator. I was Superintendent of Chaffey Joint Union High School District and most recently worked in the San Bernardino County Schools Office, most of the time as the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services. While at the County Schools Office the had the opportunity to observe and participate in a variety of activites including staff development, elementary reading programs, administrative training, and local school board seminars. I am aware of the progress our public schools have made in the past years, and I understand the important role the County Board can have in maintaining and increasing the momentum to sustain and contiue to improve the adademic performance of our students. I believe I am uniquely qualified to serve on the County Schools Board as I have the experience receiving services from the County as well as delivering those services to Schools Districts in the County. |
