Why do I think I am the best person for the job?

Within the last two years, I have worked at all levels: Pre-K through 12th grade, Special Education, Region Occupational Program (ROP), Adult Education, Independent Study and Continuation School. I have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, a well rounded background and international views.

In 2006, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Within a year of my graduation, I decided to return to school to earn a Master's Degree in Public Administration from California State University, San Bernardino. Receiving Master's in Public Administration was one of the many steps in life, which allowed me to fully comprehend how government functions externally and internally. Also, as an active member of the League of Women Voters Toastmasters International, Society of Women Engineers (SWE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), these clubs have helped broaden my horizon. Hence, I will be able to help forge a stronger relationship between the board and each of these organizations.
