- My Message to Voters.
-
I would like to ask you to visit the California Department of Education website accountability section for the Fontana Unified School District. You will notice our overall (LEA-wide) Math proficiency is 47.8%, English 44.1% and even worst for English Learners and Special Education. We did not meet the 56% mark this year and will probably NOT meet the 67% expected next school year. I would like us to all take a stand, tell all three incumbents enough is enough.
- What motivated me to run for the Fontana Unified School Board?
-
In a nutshell, I would say that I am motivated to balance the budget, improve programs' effectiveness, and retain teachers and classified staff.
- Why do I think I am the best person for the job?
-
Within the last two years, I have worked at all levels: Pre-K through 12th grade, Special Education, Region Occupational Program (ROP), Adult Education, Independent Study and Continuation School. I have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, a well rounded background and international views.
