In the 27 years my family has lived and worked in Goleta, I've had an opportunity to make a difference in many areas, particularly for children and parents. I believe I can contribute even more by serving on Goleta's City Council.

As a former PTA president I initiated statewide legislative actions, worked successfully to provide safer routes to schools, increase parent involvement, and improve the quality of education. I also participated in our family-owned, high tech/manufacturing business in Goleta. Through the Community Action Commission, I now advocate for children with special needs and facilitate countywide parent advisory council meetings.

I'm committed to preserving Goleta's unique character through a thoughtful, managed approach shaped by our community. I'm confident we can achieve improved public safety, better roadways, greater pedestrian and bicycle friendliness, reduced traffic congestion and improved air and water quality.

Working together, I know we can find the right balance in safeguarding our environment, maintaining our agricultural lands, and supporting local business to meet the needs of present and future generations.

I've been endorsed by County Supervisor Wolf, Goleta Councilmembers Connell and Easton and many others. I'd be honored to have your vote for City Council.
