Candidate for
Proposed City of Arden Arcade

In order for Arden Arcade to be a successful city, it is critical that we improve and develop our business corridors, (Watt, Howe and Fulton Avenues), and make them inviting to both residents and businesses. The success of our business community is necessary to establish an adequate revenue base for our city. We must make our city desirable for businesses to thrive.

Citrus Heights has been successful in its cityhood. Their model is one we must emulate. They have police services beyond what the county provided. They are able to provide needed municipal services while keeping their budget in the black. They are doing it right.

I support consolidation of the various local agencies (multiple park boards, water agencies, etc.) to a single point of control - simplify community access to the services via our new city that these multiple agencies now provide.

Work with me to improve our services and keep our tax dollars in the City of Arden Arcade. Vote Jay Boatwright for Arden Arcade City Council this November.
