Education and Qualifications:

Ensuring your water supplies are safe, reliable and affordable is a driving passion in my life.

As a mother of two children here in Riverside County, I became heavily involved in water quality concerns nearly a decade ago when high levels of copper were discovered in the drinking water circulating in the majority of new homes in my neighborhood.

During these difficult economic times and as a single mother raising young children I understand, above all else, the importance of a dollar. As a rate-payer myself, I know the importance of keeping cost down. I continue to fight hard to keep rates down, and the water supply reliable, safe and efficient.

My leadership on public water agency boards spans two terms, one each on the Murrieta County Water District and the Western Municipal Water District. My experience in water includes service on the following committees: Engineering / Operations, Finance, Public Outreach, Building, Western Riverside County Regional Wastewater Authority (WRCRWA) Western Riverside Council of Governments(WRCOG), Murrieta General Plan Advisory Committee, MVUSD Measure "E" Bond Committee, and the Riverside County Superior Court Planning Committee. I am also an active member of numerous organizations to benefit and improve our community.
