Parents, teachers and the school board must work together to ensure a high quality education for our students, to help prepare them for the challenges of the future
All students need the fundamental skills of a basic education: reading writing and arithmetic. We must provide these basic skills, while insuring that we prepare the students for the challenges of the 21st century. We must continue to find ways to engage students to stay in school through the use of technology, arts and activities. We must keep parents involved in education and find new ways to increase parental involvement. With the foundation of a strong parent-teacher-school board partnership, we can move forward and give the students the education they deserve, preparing them for college or career, and providing them the tools they need to make responsible choices. Working together, we can face the challenges ahead, and meet or exceed the state academic standards so that every child succeeds.
