Biographical Data: I am 65 years old. I am a retired Police Officer, having served nearly 32 years with the Buena Park Police Department. I moved to Buena Park in 1970. My wife Donna and I have been married for 11 years. I have two daughters, Stacy McCay and Michelle Walsh, both of whom are teachers. Stacy teaches 4th grade at Beatty Elementary School in Buena Park. Michelle teaches Government at Val Verde High School in Perris. My son-in-law, Dan Walsh, who grew up in Buena Park, is a geologist. I have three grandchildren, Reagan, Riley and Rock.

I have been active in the community since my children began elementary school. I joined the Buena Park Exchange Club when it chartered in 1977 and stayed a member until the Club disbanded in 1994. I then joined the Buena Park Noon Lions. I was Lions Club President in 2002. For 15 years, being a member of the Lions Club has given me the best job in Buena Park--portraying Silverado Sam.

I was first elected to the Buena Park City Council in 2002. I served as Mayor in 2005 and in 2009. I represent the people of Buena Park on the Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors, two multi-city panels that fund and oversee Measure M transportation projects and the Buena Park Foundation.
