Political Philosophy for Scott L. Levitt
Candidate for |
Ronald Reagan said, "Government is not the solution, government is the problem. This statement rings true with my political philosophy. From the federal government all the way down to our small city government here in Seal Beach, the politicians are trying to regulate all over our lives, rather than let the natural flow of citizenship and business interaction dictate policy. Specifically, the City Council Members and Planning Commissioners who have represented Old Town, Surfside and the Hill areas have over regulated and over extended their authority. It is time that this practice stop. My philosophy is to rule by facts, evidence, laws and statutes, not personal agendas, opinions or wants and desires of the elite of the Town. I hope that I have the support of every citizen of District One who wants to put an end to overbearing governing and political favors. |
