Preserving West Coyote Hills as a Park and Wildlife Refuge

I am the only candidate for City Council who spoke before the Council on the 25th of May 2010 to save West Coyote Hills from development.
As a city council member, I will urge the city to search for grant money for the purpose of purchasing the West Coyote Hills land and converting it to a park. I have met with both the Friends of Coyote Hills and Pacific Coast Homes, the owner of the land and offered a solution which would be a win-win for both sides. I am the only candidate who has developed and presented a workable solution to both Pacific Coast Homes and Friends of Coyote Hills to save West Coyote Hills from development.
