Full Biography for Barbara D. Kogerman
Candidate for |

|
My wide range of professional and leadership experiences have prepared me well for Laguna Hills City Council. From my seven years as a teacher and department chair in prestigious Troy High School in Fullerton, to a career as financial consultant for a New York Stock Exchange Member Firm, and then to both volunteer and professional leadership in the business community first as President then as CEO of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, and volunteer in various causes, I have developed expertise that will serve the citizens of Laguna Hills well. My active role in developing the lovely City of Laguna Hills began over two decades ago. In that time I have been involved with promoting the City's economic development, health and safety, and munici;al services for our residents. I am married to Col. Bill Kogerman (USMC, Ret.), who led the efforts to keep El Toro from becoming an international airport. Our children include a talented singer, age 20(visit my web page to see her stirring version of the National Anthem to raise funds for Wounded Warriors), two college-graduate stay-at-home moms, and a fire captain. All the grandkids and dads are into soccer. |
