Lynn Hatton graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1990 with a degree in Social Ecology. Upon graduation she became a full-time employee of The Princeton Review - a company that prepares students for college admissions and university entrance exams. During her 17 year tenure at this company she not only grew it to be the one of the largest, most successful franchises, but she also created a new division within the company that partnered with school districts and obtained grants to provide that same quality service to students who couldn't otherwise have accessed these programs. Lynn Hatton decided to take her experience and create her own company to provide this student support while dedicating a percentage of profits to community outreach and parental education centered around college readiness. Lynn Hatton has since created another company with an educator partner that empowers teachers and administrators to be highly effective practictioners. All of her experience provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape and what it takes to successfully support all stakeholders - students, parents, teachers, administrators and even the business community - to be successful in both college and career.

Lynn Hatton has had the opportunity to be in several varied leadership positions such as School Site Council, PTA President, San Diego CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) Roundtable, State Superintendent Inaugural Committee and a State Educational Technology Committee. She also volunteers for foster children as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and fosters shelter dogs and their puppies through Cuddly Canines.

Lynn Hatton has been married for 14 years. Her husband is a CPA and teaches Financial Accounting at Cal State Fullerton. She a son and a daughter, both of whom attend Newhart Middle School. Her interests involve anything athletic, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She looks forward to effecting positive change within the Capistrano Unified School District.
