I've lived in Brea for 12 years with my wife Liz and our sons Devin (10), and Adrian (7). We support a diverse and challenging educational experience with a premium on personal responsibility and achievement.

A graduate of USC's School of Public Administration I currently serve as president of BOUSD's school board.

During my term as School Board President the following has been accomplished:

· Successfully maintained focus on Students and Classrooms during historically difficult economic times.

· Worked with the district's teachers and staff to maintain budget integrity, minimize staff reductions and maintain critical services.

· Restored damaged High School following 2008 firestorm.

· Increased API test scores results for 4th straight year.

· Achieved local, state and national recognition of schools and personnel.

· Completed award winning classroom addition to BOHS.

· Saved approximately $1,000,000 for Brea citizens through property tax restructuring.

· Advanced construction of new elementary school site with ground breaking scheduled for fall 2010.

I've worked hard to provide a safe environment and rigorous educational opportunities for all our students. With your support I will continue to commit my time, efforts, and resources to our Students and Teachers so that our children are prepared for their future, regardless of the path they pursue.
