Crime and Neighborhoods

The crime, drug, and gang problems have become the problem no one wants to face.
There is a drug problem in San Clemente. There is also a crime problem. There is a much larger gang problem than anyone wants to admit. These problems by themselves, or as a group are creating neighborhoods that are dangerous and unappealing considering San Clemente is known for its beauty and charm. There is nothing charming about dilapidated neighborhoods and rampant crime and drug problems. It is time that these problems were not swept under the rug but confronted head-on. Responsibility means bringing the ugly truth to the surface in order to address and repair.
