I am proud of our schools but, especially now, we must do better by:

Pursuing new revenue sources.

Actively engaging our community about its priorities.

Tightening fiscal controls.

Directing scarce resources to our classrooms.

Expanding educational opportunities for all students.

Ensuring that all students can read, write and speak English fluently.

Graduating good citizens who are prepared to work or attend college.

I believe all students can learn and that high expectations matter. I am determined to listen to you, do my homework, and fight tirelessly for our children and our schools.
