Political Philosophy for Jordan Brandman
Candidate for |
In 2008, you elected me to our board because you wanted new leadership to restore the community's trust and get our schools moving in the right direction. With your support, our district is back on track. We're teaching students and preparing them for the future. I have provided fiscally conservative leadership and clear priorities. Even in these challenging economic times, we've maintained high standards in our classrooms and didn't cut basic instruction. We've improved English, mathematics, and science classes. Our computer literacy and job skills training programs are preparing students for life after graduation. We've enhanced afterschool and extracurricular initiatives, including sports and music. Our campuses are cleaner, safer, and more energy efficient. Moving forward, it's essential that we continue to improve core academic instruction, ensure we be good stewards of taxpayer dollars, and provide quality education for all students that's second to none. I humbly ask for your vote to continue working on behalf of the students, parents, and taxpayers. |
