Political Philosophy for Jim Gattis

As you know, we are currently in an unprecedented time in healthcare--a time that requires experienced leadership. Now more than ever, we need leadership that knows the ins and outs of healthcare finance, and can navigate this organization to a successful future. That's why we collectively decided to seek reelection to the hospital board--because we want to make sure our local health services are protected. With so many uncertainties in healthcare, now is the time for continued stability on the SVMH Board. The three of us have a combined 37 years of service to the Hospital District, with a proven track record of success. Salinas Valley Memorial has been a shining example of good financial management. More than 60 hospitals in our state have had to close their doors over the past decade. Despite a challenging healthcare environment, SVMHS is one of the few Public District Hospitals in the State that is financially viable, and able to support key initiatives in areas such as research, patient safety, and quality. Let's continue to improve our local health care services. We would appreciate your support. |
