Great things in store for Ridgecrest

We have been called the `Saudi Arabia' of alternative energy because our geography gives us a leg up on other cities. We have a solar plant under construction that will power City Hall and have prospects for other projects that could increase the reliability and decrease the cost of energy delivery for residents.

When this community bands together for a cause the results are strong. That unity brought us success in the last BRAC, pumping $220 million into the local economy, creating jobs and supporting business.

In the coming term, I want to focus on executing many of the long-term projects I have been working on. The recently issued Tax Allocation Bonds will provide us the capital to make some much needed improvements to roads, parks, and other infrastructure. These issues have long been a concern to residents and I'm pleased to be able to deliver the results they deserve.

Community sentiment is not unlike the stock market because it has some ups and downs that concern investors. In the big picture though, with experienced professionals at the helm, the market, like the City will continue to strive. Ridgecrest remains a strong and vibrant community with a bright future. I appreciate your willingness to let me be a part of its history and hope that you will allow me to be a part of its future.
