We've been successful in getting assessment information on the internet! I believe we can always do better. I will continue to work to improve the information we provide, such at property characteristics. We are currently building an excel file that will be uploaded with property characteristic information. I believe the Assessor's Office has an obligation to the taxpayers of Humboldt County to look out for their interest. We need to find a way, whenever possible, to make changes to TPZ and Williamson Act properties when there is a change in ownership or change to the parcel. This calendar year we have made strides with the collaboration of County Planning and County Counsel in moving forward on long standing issues.
