Let's abide by the existing Orinda General Plan, which calls for a downtown with a "village atmosphere" and low building heights to preserve the wonderful views of the hills.

Let's keep Orinda "semi-rural." Our hometown feel is rather unique in the bustling Bay Area and is a major reason why most of our residents choose to live here. We can have progress and growth without sacrificing what makes Orinda special.

Let's support small businesses that provide the goods and services that our small city needs. Some have said Orinda has developed a reputation as being a difficult place to do business and to start new businesses. We can do better.

Let's work on alternative solutions to the crumbling roads and infrastructure.

Let's do all we can to maintain the excellence in our schools.

Let's increase citizen involvement in our city decision-making and let our residents vote on major issues.

Let's achieve transparency in our city government and be fiscally responsible.
