Council Member; City of Concord

Professionally, Carlyn is a project manager, researcher, and writer who focuses on public education reform via charter schools to ensure a quality education for every child in California.

Previously, she worked as a researcher/writer and Japanese-to-English translator/interpreter for the Japan External Trade Organization.

She holds an MBA from the Fisher Graduate School of International Business at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and has resided in downtown Concord with her husband, Justin, since December 2006.
