Recent Positive Steps
-Crime and violence down! Homicides down 60%

-Chevron has agreed to pay the City an additional $114 million over the next 15 years

-Richmond voters will have a chance to vote yes or no on the idea of an urban casino at Point Molate

-Richmond is one of the few cities in the Bay Area with a balanced budget and no lay-offs

-Richmond is ranked number one in solar watts per capita in the Bay Area (NorCal Solar Award 2010)
