Position Papers
Attract Businesses to Support Alternative Energy Programs
Wind, Solar and Alternative Cleantech energy generation is an expanding national industry. The demand for wind power technology is growing and Brentwood is surrounded by an abundance of wind power sources, yet there are few local businesses that exist to support the local wind generation industry.
Revitalizing Our Small Farm Agriculture
The sustainable agriculture movement + eating fresh fruits and vegetables, close to where they are grown + is gaining national momentum. Brentwood has 100's of small-sized individually-owned farmable properties that are currently underutilized.
Promoting Brentwood's Small Businesses Online
Brentwood has over 4,000 small businesses that are licensed by the City. According to economic experts, it is these same small business owners that are supporting our local economy in this time of financial difficulty.
