Born & Raised in Davis, California Graduated from Davis High School 1975 Married to Tracy in 1982, 2 children, Chelsea 25 is a manager at the Paradise Cinema. She attended Arizona State University and Chico State. Dustin 22 is head projectionist and assistant manager at the Paradise Cinema, he is also a certified massage therapist . Both children have been active in the theatre business from an early age. Moved to Paradise in October of 1998 from Fairfield. We first lived in the house out in front of the theatre while the Cinema 7 was under construction and for 6 months after the theatre opened. The Paradise Cinema 7 opened on May 19, 1999. The house is now occupied by Grosso Financial Group-Raymond James Financial. Tracy & I designed a home and had it built on property we purchased in Paradise near Bille Park. Worked for Westside Valley Theatres, a now defunct San Francisco based theatre chain. Starting at the age of 17 as an usher and ticket taker and progressing to assistant manager at 18 and theatre manager at age 21.Left Westside Valley Theatres after 6 years to join Tegtmeier Associates Inc. as General Manager of four theatres in Fairfield. Supervised operations of theatres in Fairfield, Vacaville, Lakeport, Stockton & Oakdale. After the company sold and closed their operations in Solano County, Scott operated the Paradise Cinema 7, Lakeport Cinema 5 and Lakeport Auto Movies, for Tegtmeier Associates. In 2005, Scott & his wife Tracy formed their family owned theatre corporation Paradise Cinemas Incorporated and purchased the theatre businesses in Lakeport and Paradise, leasing the buildings from their former employer Tegtmeier Associates Inc. While in Fairfield, spent 8 years on the board of directors of the Fairfield Downtown Improvement District, 3 years as Chairman. The 200 plus member Fairfield DID operated numerous community events, concert series, farmers markets and festivals. Served on the board of directors of the Fairfield Suisun Chamber of Commerce for three years.
