Faculty, National Judicial College (2007) Facilitiated small discussion group for introductory class to train administrative law judges from across the country.

Administrative Law Judge, California Department of Insurance (2006) Presided over classification appeals of businesses regarding their workers compensation insurance.

Acting Assistant Chief Counsel, California Electricity Oversight Board (2003-05) Agency lead attorney for litigation before federal courts and agencies to recover overpayments during the California energy crisis of 2000-01, as well as negotiator on settlements totaling over $3.2 billion.

General Counsel, Telegen Corporation (2000-02) Chief legal officer for a publicly traded company, responsible for all legal issues for the companies, including intellectual property, securities (quarterly and annual SEC filings, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Rule 144 clearances, and Regulation D and S offerings), human resources, immigration and finance. Negotiated and drafted agreements with partners on three continents. Argued appeal before U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
