ReformBy Garrett YeeCandidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 20; Democratic Party | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Public service - not politicsTransparency and accountability are two values we need more than ever in State government. For the past 20 years Garrett has worked to ensure corporations and insurance companies play by the rules, monitoring things like workplace safety and fair wages to protect California workers. In the State Assembly, he will fight for wide ranging reforms to eliminate legislative perks. Character and integrity are the true benchmarks of effective leadership. Garrett has a proven record of successful leadership under difficult situations, from budget cuts at the Community College District to commanding over 1,500 individuals as a Colonel in the Army Reserves. We need to change the way state government operates, we must work together to solve problems. The California Legislature needs leaders who will set aside personal agendas and do what is best for the people of the 20th district and our State. |
