Hi, my name is David Su. I will be the youngest minority ever to run for Congress in the history of the United States under the GOP Banner. I am 26 years old, a Korean-American, and a proud American citizen. I've lived in the 42nd Congressional District for about 10 years. I am a graduate of Diamond Bar High School, class of 2001 and went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree in political science international affairs, from the University of California, Riverside in 2007.

I have a deep love for America, she has given me so much and now I feel I owe it to the constituents of the 42nd and to America herself, to give back. When I was young, I knew that I had a desire to help people, but never knew how I was going to accomplish that until now. When I graduated from college, I was part of a class of young, innovative, optimistic individuals that was looking forward to a bright future. As I completed college and stepped out of my confined, safe, and comfort zone, I began to experience the real world. I was realistic, knowing that there would be uncertainties, concerns, fears, and anxieties. America at that time was steering into a new direction of economic instability, a break down of government integrity and now we are facing a greater peril of bigger government and limited freedom.

Due to America's current leadership's lack of ethics, morals, and fiscal responsibility, I felt convicted to run for Congress because now is the time to end the game of politics and have someone to serve in the interest of Americans. It is time for new leadership, one who will end the corruption, stay true to their conservative principles, and one who will have the courage and the determination of the American spirit to take on and destroy Washington's political machine. I pledge that I will do everything in my power to truly limit government, lower taxes, to improve the quality of life for all Americans, and most important of all, to restore your trust within the Republican Party. It's time to give America back to the people. I want you to ask yourself, what has the party done for you? Did our party really accomplish our platform? Did the Republican party really limit government and lower taxes? The answer is no. This is why I am urging everyone to stand with me because I know together not only can we rebuild our party and make it great again, but we can make America great again.
