We are subsidizing other states at our expense.No one is sure how much money is returned to us from our federal income tax. Many states do not have the population to build roads or maintain their infrastructure,therefore, we Californians provide much of the money to keep these states in the black financially. Our elected Congress Representatives need to work to return more of our federal tax dollar to California. There is no other way about it! I would like to know how many of our Southern,Central, and Western states actually provide money to California. To date no one is answering my question. The data from our Representatives in Congress is different from other federal goverment agencies. Some say we get 75 cents on every dollar. Some say it $1.26 cents or so. Please call your United States Senator and Congress person to find out what our return is on our California Federal income tax. And ask them if we, Californians, have helped so many states in the past, can they now help us out with funds to help pay down our deficit,and put our state in the black. |
