Top Priorities if Elected
  • "Executive Councils" are needed to govern and manage CA public schools.
  • CA lottery funds must go directly to schools, not school districts.

Position Papers
Create "Executive Councils" in California independent public schools.
A 7-member "Executive Council" could be elected to govern and manage any California public school that votes to become a "California Independent Public School."
California Lottery funds must go to schools, not to school districts.
California Government Code Section 8880.5 should be amended to require the state controller to send lottery and Proposition 20 textbook funds directly to schools.
It's time to eliminate the California Standards Tests (CST).
It's time to get rid of the California Standards Tests which intrude upon and disrupt the education program in thousands of California schools every year.
