Since 2005, Linda Jones has proudly represented the constituents of the Westside Union School District as a member of the Board of Trustees. She was re-elected to the board this past November to her second term. As a tireless advocate for our schools, Linda has used her seat on the Board to fight for higher standards,greater accountability
and a renewed dedication to improving our children's future through a quality education.
Linda still finds time to be an active member of a number of civic organizations including serving on the Antelope Valley School Boards Association, as founder and past President of the High Desert Alliance of Black School Educators and as a founding member of Antelope Valley Women in Action, member of the Lancaster Alumnae chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Zonta Club of the Antelope Valley, Advisory Board for Antelope Valley Black Infant Health.
A native of Los Angeles, Linda lives in Palmdale with her husband of 30 years Robert, also a local teacher. Together, she and Robert have four daughters and four grandchildren.
