Should endorsements be based upon a fair and equal consideration of all candidates or should they be based upon a select few?

I have seen over the past two elections and this current election that most endorsements are made by groups and individuals that DO NOT look at ALL of the candidates before making endorsements. These endorsements are misleading at best. I have been endorsed by my union as their Republican candidate of choice, but they did not consider any other Republican candidates. This seems to be a standard procedure for many endorsements and it is the reason that I don't give much credibility to them.

Most voters don't know the inner workings of elections and must decide on candidates and propositions based upon what the media, political parties, and proposition promoters decide to disclose. I believe in following the money trail to see what's behind candidates and propositions.
