I am running for Assembly to provide new leadership for our community. Government in Sacramento is broken. The old ways are no longer working. I have a track record of innovative thinking and real leadership in county and city government. First as a school teacher and then as a council member and mayor in Concord and now as Contra Costa Supervisor in District IV, I am a leader who shares our commitment to excellent schools, tackling economic development, job creation and reforming government.
