Political Philosophy for David Radcliff
Candidate for |

The city of Poway is one of the finest places to live, to work and to enjoy life. We have experienced recent incidents and events that have cost the city financially and have embarrassed this great community. I will bring sound judgment and leadership to this office and use these principles to move the community forward, in a responsible fashion. In my 20 years of teaching in higher education and the management positions I have held in the private sector, my greatest accomplishment in both venues has been providing and inspiring leadership. The qualifications I will bring to this office include reasoned communication skills and a true understanding and practice of critical thinking for decision making and problem solving. I believe the residents of Poway deserve new leadership. I believe that running for city council is one of the best ways that I can contribute to the city of Poway and its residents. I believe Powegians deserve a city council committed to making their services and systems better and committed to saving money. In addition, I believe that a city council person owes the residents of Poway something that cannot be bought or measured in terms of money - and that is integrity. I will ensure the city of Poway continues to operate within its own means and balances its budgets. I will advocate process management and continuous improvement practices to improve the delivery of city services and to cut operating costs. |
