Political Philosophy for Brian "Barry" Pollard
Candidate for |
I know that as the Fourth District Council person my accomplishments will be limited without the support and involvement of the District residents. I want to encourage everyone to get involved in his or her neighborhood. In return I will work to remove obstacles and to speak forcibly at City Hall in support of our Neighborhoods and the City of San Diego as a whole. I believe in self and governmental accountabilty and I believe in communities that pull together and work for the community's common goals. I believe District 4 deserves more than what we have been receiving the last 5 years, we deserve more services and we deserve community resources that have systematically been dis-assembled. I believe we need a new and fresh approach to move our community forward with better paying jobs, econmic development and more Parks, Recreation Centers and Libraries. I believe in securing other sources of revenue in addition to the City to make this happen. A vote for me is a vote for the future. We deserve better than what we have now. I ask for your vote, a vote for District 4. |
