Like many of my neighbors, I've had enough of the counterproductive, partisan politics that has crippled our ability to advance our city. Certain councilmembers told me I shouldn't run because I'm not aligned with either side. I will not be manipulated by the special interests that control Prosser and Lowery. My presence on the council dais will foster councilmember collaboration. We have a rich local history, a diverse community and abundant natural resources. We are proud to be the adopted home town of the Marines of Camp Pendleton. However our city is operating with record deficits. Unlike other cities, we're not properly capitalizing on our biggest assets including our harbor, beaches and tourism. After spending many years as a producer in the entertainment business, I moved to Oceanside in 2000 with my family. I'm now the Director of Business Development for Signature Resource, an investment firm which oversees $1.4-billion in assets. I humbly submit my business acumen and unique skillset will help change the way business is conducted in Oceanside. My goal is to safeguard local citizens against decisions made purely for political gain and turn the tide towards solvency and a new wave of municipal prosperity. |
